HOLLYWOOD - Pregnant Hollywood vixen Angelina Jolie has agreed to reprise her role as Lara Croft in a third Tomb Raider movie--and she is already planning a punishing fitness regime to regain her figure after she gives birth. The Oscar-winner, who is eight months pregnant, is currently staying at a highly guarded residence in Namibia where she is expected to give birth to her first biological child, fathered by boyfriend Brad Pitt.
And Ian Livingston, the creator of video game heroine Lara Croft, says, "Paramount has optioned it and Angelina has agreed to star in the third. If the (new) game is as successful as the others, it's likely Paramount will put the third movie into production soon."
The last Tomb Raider film, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life - made on a $90 million budget--grossed $65 million at the box office.

Hey Indy 3 is a movie of 80's. I would never like to see such a Tomb Raider movie http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/gy.gif Both style and being outdated.

Ok, having read the quote again, I've seen it's "dependant on game sales" How many I don't know, but it would have to be quite a lot and sustained over the period of Angelina Jolie's pregnancy (which is a big ask!)

Being a Brit, I can offer the opinion that Jolie's English accent was...okay. It was obvious that she was putting it on, but she sounded convincingly enough like a posh Englishwoman. Also:
Hi! I just joined this forum so I may be naive but, I think TRUE TOMB RAIDER fans
should like anything there is to do with TR movies and the like. I for one am very excited that TR 3 will be made soon!
No matter if the story is slow or whatever is doesn't matter! ANYTHING Tomb Raider will be AWESOME!!Laracroftjunky, I ought to warn you you're going to step on a lot of toes by claiming that people who don't automatically love anything with the Tomb Raider stamp on it aren't 'true fans'. Being a true fan can be, but isn't exclusively, about just loving everything connected to the Tomb Raider franchise - it's about loving Tomb Raider even if you think it's flawed. Very dedicated fans of the games (or the movies, or the official comics) still have a right to criticise and to be discerning.
Having said that, I can see your point of view. I first started playing the games when I was much younger and for a few years, I thought everything even vaguely connected with Lara was a work of art. My tastes have developed since then, though, and I understand that not enjoying parts of a franchise doesn't make me in any way a traitor to the fandom. I'm sure that I'm not alone in that I'm never going to enjoy something obviously subpar just because someone's plastered Lara's face onto it.
And for the record, I thought the movies were terrible.
