Yes played TR1 and completed it along time ago when I still used my psone!

I completed it back in 1996 using my psx for the first time and the last time was about a year ago. )Not counting the custom remake now!) One of the first games i ever played way back on playstation, and i've been a TR addict ever since I still play it now too, i love going back to the old haunts, the music, atmospshere, everything for me is just totally fabulous

I remeber that every year or 2 my parents were buying Tomb Raider for me!

IMHO it's somewhat depressing to see that so many (up to 16% or voters even if it was just 2 people) have not played THE game that made Lara a star. Level design was superb, the sense of space flabbergasting and the atmosphere imcomparable. So what if the graphics now look bleak - back then they were cutting-edge. For me TR1 (and in parts, TR4) will always remain the core of Lara's being, her true habitat.

2 voters aren't much but I know there are legions of fans out there for whom the movie & Legend are TR. For me they're just a continuum, a short stretch of a very long and windy road.

Totally agree

Altho i have a hard time choosing between TR 1 and 2 as my fav.. I love the Venice levels so much, but i also love the TR1 feel that made me fall in love with this game in the first place.. TR2 was the first one I played. I did play the demo of TR1, back when I had Win98, but by the time I got my hands on the full game I was running XP and could never get it to work.

Daoine Sidhe has made us a Revised TR 1 game so we can play this wonderful game on XP.. and i must say it was even better than the original due to better textures etc. It is almost exactly like the original, with only a few minor changes, so if u want to experience TR1 on XP then give this a try

but i think that tr2 is better then tr1 . have u played other parts including legend or just u played tr1 so far
