As you know, Angie is a Goodwill Ambassador with UNHCR, she wants to help people, she wants a better future.
We're already in the second half of November and very soon we'll send the season's greetings to our relatives, firends, acquaintances, so why not do it with UNHCR e-cards.
Here is the e-mail I got from the agency :

You can send free personal UNHCR greeting cards to your family and friend through UNHCR's Star Appeal.

The Star Appeal benefits refugee children and their families who find themselves far from home this holiday season. Many are living in refugee camps, seeking safety from conflict, in terribly harsh conditions. Our Star Appeal is for every refugee child unable to go home this holiday season - in particular those who may go hungry, thirsty or without a safe place to sleep.

Through UNHCR's Star Appeal, you can send free e-cards, make a specific gift to refugees, as well as make a gift to a friend and then send them a gift certificate.

To send free e-cards go to www.starappeal.unhcr.org/ecard/
To give a gift to a refugee child this holiday season go to www.starappeal.unhcr.org
Wishing you, your family and friends a joyous and peaceful holiday season.
