JOLIE CONFIRMS: 'I'M A MOM AGAIN'
LATEST: ANGELINA JOLIE has confirmed Vietnamese press reports she has adopted a young boy from the country. The actress and her eldest child MADDOX - who she adopted from Cambodia in 2002 - arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday (14MAR07) to complete the paperwork to adopt three-and-half-year-old PAX THIEN today (15MAR07). The actress, five-year-old Maddox and her new son are expected to spend a week in Vietnam awaiting the boy's new passport application, before returning to her partner BRAD PITT and their two daughters, adopted ZAHARA MARLEY, two; and baby SHILOH NOUVEL, 10 months', in New Orleans, Louisiana. The star's adviser on international affairs, TREVOR NEILSON, says, "Brad very much wanted to be there but is under contract working on a film in Los Angeles and as a result couldn't go." Jolie's representative confirms she took custody of the boy from the Tam Binh orphanage earlier today.

JOLIE AND PITT'S SON MADDOX HELPS WELCOME NEW BROTHER
LATEST: ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT's son MADDOX welcomed his new brother into the family by holding the orphan's hand as he left the Vietnamese institute where he has grown up. Jolie and her five-year-old son arrived at the Tam Binh orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City, where the actress' new son has spent the last three years, earlier today (15MAR07) after flying into Vietnam late on Wednesday (14MAR07). Mother and Maddox were greeted by approximately 20 children dressed in traditional Vietnamese tunics and offering flowers as they embarked on the final stages of the adoption procedure. Orphanage director NGUYEN VAN TRUNG insists Jolie has made a wise choice in the three-and-a-half-year-old boy, whose name has been changed from PHAM QUANG SANG to PAX THIEN by the actress. Van Trung says, "He's the smartest and cleverest among the kids." But the adoption almost hit a late hiccup, according to the orphanage boss: "I was a bit worried in the morning. When Sang saw Jolie and two of her big bodyguards, he moved back and cried. Jolie kneeled down and gradually went closer to him. It took about 20 minutes for her to reach him." Van Trung added that "after Jolie made acquaintance with him, he cheered up and trusted her right away". Maddox also attempted to soothe his new brother by holding his hand. The orphanage director adds, "He was very friendly to Sang."
Good news all that, but what follows is a pity, those paps ...

JOLIE SLAMS PHOTOGRAPHERS AFTER TERRIFYING VIETNAM SCENE
ANGELINA JOLIE has lashed out at paparazzi who turned her new adopted son's first encounter with celebrity into a terrifying experience. The actress and her adopted Cambodian son MADDOX were leaving an orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam yesterday (15MAR07) with the latest addition to their family when photographers swarmed their vehicle. And Jolie, who was sickened by the extent the snappers went to get a shot of her adopted son PAX THIEN, is speaking out through her international advisor TREVOR NEILSON. In a statement released late yesterday (15MAR07), he says, "As Angelina left the orphanage they (photographers) opened the door of her car, banged on the doors and threw things under the wheels to try to get them to stop. "How would the paparazzi feel if someone was doing this to a car their child was riding in?" The chaos in the car ride away from the orphanage, from which three-year-old Pax Thien was collected by his new mum and brother, was a stark contrast to the peace in the institute, where Jolie thanked those who have been caring for her new son. The actress signed a guest book, writing, "Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son." Jolie is now heading to Vietnamese capital Hanoi to finalise the adoption.
It's of course a right to inform people, but not that way !
As far as I am concerned, just one solution for "journalists" with so little respect : jail ! They would have the time to think twice about it before stalking celebrities (and other people).
