I have got a big question:
What is the fate of Kurtis Trent ? Is he alive ? After killing the monster he falls down and nearly died. But when Lara gets to the place, she only sees a lot of blood and one of his weapons .

I think he is not dead. If he had died, we would have seen his dead body. After all Lara found his weapon that was pointing on the exit.
Though I find the existence of Kurtis insignificant, cause he would never show up in the next TR games.
