JOLIE'S TRAVELS KEEP HER AWAY FROM MEDIA COVERAGE

Angie is far from superficial, she cares about serious issues, there are far more important problems to solve all over the world than advertising movies, than make coverstories in magazines ...

In a way, I could say I'm a "bad" fan because I get lots of those magazines, not so much for the articles but for the photos ...
Problem is : Angie, for most people, is a public person working for the entertainment industry. If we think of it : we spend a lot of our sparetime watching movies (on TV, DVD's, cassettes, at the cinema), watching series, listening to music. Another thing is : we like to know what's going on in the world that's why the newsbroadcasts on TV and on the radio have so much audience, newspapers and magazines sell so well ...

Now of course, I consider myself to be a huge Angiefan, I absolutely love her, admire her, respect her and I must confess, I like to know where she is, what she's doing ... But I'm aware she needs, like all of us, a lot of privacy, I hope the fact she moved to New Orleans will help her find more privacy ...

Angie travels a lot, not only to visit countries as a tourist, but to meet people who really need help, to donate, to work with them and it's normal she considers our "occidental way of life" is very superficial ...
Matter to think about, all that ...

ANGELINA JOLIE has taken time out from settling into her new home in New Orleans, Louisiana, to fly to Vietnam to promote economic development. The actress traveled to the Asian country to attend a meeting on behalf of the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project (MJP), a charity formed to aid her five-year-old son's native country of Cambodia. According to MJP executive director STEPHAN BOGNAR, he and Jolie met with officials from the International Finance Corporation's Mekong Private Sector Development Facility, a privately funded World Bank initiative that promotes economic development in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The MRS + MRS SMITH star is particularly interested in a project to help subsistence farmers grow and sell bamboo, a business that Bognar says could increase their monthly income from $25 (GBP13) to $300 (GBP154). Bamboo crops also filter toxins from water and help stem soil erosion. Jolie's partner, BRAD PITT, was unable to make the trip and stayed with the couple's kids in New Orleans, where he is currently filming THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON.
