I understand what to do here. The problem is, once I have the horse stunned, i get the red target on the shield, I use the grapple hook and the grapple hook just bounces off the shield. The grapple wont grab the shield. What do I have to do to get the grapple hook to grab the shield? I have the ps2 game.

Which means you did not get it right lol.. Once raged, centaurs try to freeze you. If they fail, they try to attack you directly. It is this time when you need to use ADRENALINE DODGE and make precise shot, and stun them. Once a centaur is stunned, its head is bowed up front and shield's inside is turned towards you. At this point all you need to do is use grapple and get its shield off its hands. THen use the shield - once they try to freeze you, it will reflect on shield and a centaur will be frozen instead. Once frozen shoot it to death.
