I still can not beat the centaurs. I have tried everything I think. Ha Ha! Obviously not or I would be past this. I can not get the shield away from the centaur. I have even used the cheat from Stella's walkthrough. Swin under to where the switch is the first Centaur dies. The other will not commit suicide. also I can not pick up the shield to fight the other one. I am absolutly stuck. Maybe if someone would tell me exactly how to do a adrenaline roll. Maybe I am doing it wrong.

ADRENALINE DODGE:
You start shooting target. Its Rage Meter fills and when its full, it flashes for a few times. Target noars, and starts to run towards you. As this happens make sure that:
1. Your gun isn't empty or about to be so,
2. Your guns are drawn and you are still shooting the target, but much less oftener;
As target comes nearer and as you are shooting at it much less frequently, prepare for dodge. Once the right moment comes, at the right bottom of your screen direction key icons appear, indicating its time to hit roll. Stop shooting, and hot ROLL + Any direction key but towards the target (if you roll towards the target, most probably you will fail. Roll either sideways or far from the target). Slow motion engages, Lara starts dodging target and gray target crosshairs appear. Wait until they become RED, and shoot ONCE. Not Twice or more... Or you will fail. Once shot and if it is done rightly, target is stunned (dead in normal cases). Once stunned, use grapple and grab its shield out of its hands.
Please remember that in the case of centaurs, at first adrenaline dodge case, they will shoot at you with the Frost spell, freezing you. If you evade it or manage to free yourself from its effect (by continuously hitting directional keys), the next time Rage meter fills up, they will attack you, melee. That is when your charming Shield-Stealing method works. If you fail, it again switches to Frost spell mode, then again to Melee attack mode, and repeats that way...
Sometimes, when you just shoot those bastards, they just freeze for no reason. As if their time stopped. Its not the same thing of what happens when we stun them via Adrenaline Dodge - rather a game glitch we can call it. And there is a difference between these two types of stuns: Glitch one is like time freeze, they just stop moving; Adrenaline Dodge one, they lose power, bow before you standing on their front legs and the shield's interior turns towards you - which makes it possible to use grapple hook.
