We remember Katrina, that exceptionally strong hurricane that hit New Orleans. A few days ago, President Bush visited the city but according to him everything is OK now, which is unfortunately not exactly the case. Still many people are homeless, many cities parts are still devasted ...

Hollywood couple BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE took a night off parenting their four children to host a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the Hamptons, New York on Saturday (25Aug07). The pair left Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and Shiloh Nouvel with nannies at the New York City hotel to fly upstate to the home of Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in Watermill. The fundraiser was promoting the Troy hunk's Make It Right project, which aims to rebuild New Orleans, Louisiana's hurricane-ravaged Ninth Ward. During the evening, the couple socialised with Pitt's Ocean's Thirteen co-star Ellen Barkin, country singer Jimmy Buffet and supermodel Christie Brinkley, the New York Daily News reports.
