Those among you who know something about Angie's personal story probably know she experienced different drugs. She admits it herself. That was back in the years "before" Tombraider 1. As she says, she didn't have much satisfaction, of course she loved (and still loves) her job as an actress but she lacked a real purpose in life. Entertainment industry didn't fulfill her expectations. Which expectations anyway ? Then we know how things developed : filming TR1 she was confronted to misery, poverty in Cambodia, and she knew what she wanted to do : helping those lovely people, and then came Maddox ...
She had a good purpose in life and she vowed never to touch drugs again.

Hollywood actress ANGELINA JOLIE once took powerful drug LSD before a trip to children's paradise Disneyland. The Tomb Raider star admits taking the hallucinogenic drug before a trip to the tourist attraction in Orlando, Florida. She says, "I remember taking LSD before I went to Disneyland. I started thinking about Mickey Mouse being a short, middle-aged man in a costume who hates life. Those drugs can be dangerous if you don't go into it positively - I gave them up long ago." Jolie - who has made no secret of her broad experimentation with drugs - also admits cannabis makes her "giggly". She says, "I've done coke, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, everything. But the one that had the worst effect for me was pot. I felt silly and giggly and I hate feeling like that".

The really good news about that is that she succeeded in giving up all that rubbish ! It's hard to stop drugs and she did it ! http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif And that's what matters, for her first of all : such a brilliant actress, such a good person.
Take Gia for instance : she couldn't give up and we know how it all ended, AIDS because of contaminated needle, suffering, death ... (btw although I've watched that great movie several times, my reaction is always the same : I end up crying and thinking : fortunately Angie had the will and the power to stop it.
