Q. What is iGoogle?
A. iGoogle is the personalized version of Google.com. It offers at-a-glance access to the information you care about in a visually compelling and customizable way.

Q. How do I set up and add a theme on my iGoogle page?

It's easy to set up an iGoogle page and add a theme. Here are a few short steps:

1. Once you've created a Google account and sign in, visit the Google homepage and click the iGoogle link in the top-right corner of the page.
2. In the dialogue box that pops up, click the categories that are most interesting to you, and choose a theme if you wish.
3. Click save and you're done! You now have a personalized iGoogle page with gadgets that matter to you.

Ready to take your iGoogle page to the next level, and personalize it with more specific gadgets and themes? Then keep reading!

1. Open the iGoogle directory by clicking "Add stuff" in the top-right corner. This will let you add additional gadgets from the directory to your iGoogle page.
2. Browse through thousands of gadgets organized by category, or search for an interest or hobby to find a gadget that's relevant to your life. Once you find a gadget you like just click 'Add it now.'
3. Once a gadget appears on your iGoogle page, click its downward-facing arrow and select Edit settings to adjust the gadget's settings.
4. To organize the layout of gadgets on your iGoogle page, just click the gadget's border and drag it to your preferred location.
5. If you want to add a theme to your iGoogle page, click the 'Select theme' link in the upper-right corner of the page. Browse through the themes to select the one you like. (The first time you select a theme, we may ask you for some regional information such as your city or zip code. Some themes change during the day, and we use the information you provide to correctly time these changes with your local sunrise, sunset, and weather.)
6. There is a special section with themes created by participating artists called "Get Artist themes" located in the upper right corner next to the Select theme link. Click on the link and once you’ve browsed through the selection and decided on the theme you like, click on the add it now button and it should automatically take you back to your iGoogle page with your selected theme.

Cheers,

Keir Edmonds
