I would really not... It would spoil the environment, like it did with Hercules, Xena

yeah i think so too...
no tomb raider for tv !!!
witchblade - the series was also not so good.
Tomb Raider is a game, not a movie or so.
And when u always see lara on tv, nobody will play the games...

I would like that, but on the other hand I could imagine noone who would be perfect to play Lara. Maybe a CG series? Only a couple of episoded though.

Well good on ya for thinking up the idea but I would have to say no I am not in favor of a regular tv series. Mostly I worry if the quality could be kept up week after week on a television budget. Also a CGI series would look great but that would cost many millions of dollars an episode to produce if they did it right. That would be a hard sell to the network.
I don't think Eidos should liscense out Lara unless they are assured that a great product would come of it that would not sully her name or image.
But I don't mean to poopoo your idea, very nice creative thinking there.

If in that series will be Zeta Jones or Ballock, so of course YES. I say YES even if there will be someone else NOT Jolie

I would be interesting if they make it an anime like series. I go for that.

I don't think it's a very good idea to make a series about our Lara just like I feel about Star Wars the t.v. series.

The big (if somewhat ironic) problem is that Relic Raider was already released as a show. Also, computer game to TV shows work in cartoons (Mario, two decent Sonic series and the masterful Earthworm Jim), but even then they are rare as rocking horse crap.

Hmm, I voted but never said anything on this topic.
I think Tomb Raider in the media should be limited to the movies. No offense to the tv idea, it's just people might get tired after a bit of time and if they're up for a tv series, the producers ought to get one very great actress that can really portray Lara because AJ can't step on her shoes filming 30 min shows continuously. It's possible but can it live up to people's expectations? That, I'm not so sure.

Personally I think it MIGHT work...as long as they do it without human beings, bar the voices of course. After all, lets face it, part of the appeal for Tomb Raider is that Lara Croft can do so many things physically that most people would faint just considering. Also, CGI? Distinct lack of blood, which can only be a good thing when considering that every Lara fan I know isn't a horror film fan. If it was set up to work like the games and they put in the effort, you never know. Besides, personally speaking, I'd like to see what they made of Lara's home life and job at the British Museum as well as her Raiding adventures. What about everyone else? Oh, don't compare it to Relic Hunter, either. Tia Carrera is a good actress, but the series was only ever going to be played for laughs. I'd hope that any TR series might at least occassionally show that Lara doesn't win them all.
If anyone think's I'm taking this too seriously, your probably right. Shows how bored I am with all the "shows" on t.v. these days...
