In previous years we accepted wallpapers and composites/collages, but in the end they didn't seem like artwork. For instance, contestants used others' copyrighted background photographs and official renders mixed. We don't count that much of an artwork, because it's not what the contestant created.
You are allowed to think creatively by making your artwork yourself, for example, using renders for reference-material, creating your own textures etc.

Ok, i think i have understood it. For example, this is a wallpaper that i did some time ago because of Tr Legends using an oficial renders, filtres, degrades etc... Is this something what i CAN do?

Well, to be honest, it's very difficult to say which is acceptable and which isn't. Our Quality Assurance Team will decide in the end. Until then you may submit artwork like that, although it would be unfair to digital artists who paint work like that digitally, for instance.

There is no particular theme for the entries. You may feel free to create anything relating to future games and also various TR characters, although Lara obviously is most desired.
You can enter in both categories. Users have 5 megas upload permission per post.

I have a little question. It was stated that picture size must meet minimum requirements of 1500x1500 pixels. Can it be a bit smaler then that? Like, for example 1000x1500?(not less then 1000, that's for sure)

It is better that your work is minimally 1500x1500px, everybody should have the same rules. I'll PM you for further help.

First of all I would like to apologize for the downtime that happened a few days back. I am currently away with very limited internet connection and such, so can't really address the issues related to our site. We had coupla problems that caused a downtime, which took few days. Please pay attention to a changed rule of minimal image size. Some of the contestants seemed to have problems with it, so I changed the minimum to 1000x1500px. Thanks for attention. http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Edit: Just in case I'll mention that contestants can post as many artwork as they wish for the competition. The work just has to meet the contest's standards/rules.

Guess Kadry made a slight mistake here regarding the updated contest rules. The minimum dimensions for the entries submitted are 1000x1000 pixels [both width and height 1000 pixels], instead of 1000x1500. Please be advised.

It's unlikely that judges would decide that way, although there is a possibility if the artwork is remarkably better than the others'.
