haha thanks... but i did a royal mess up on the time differences! lol

I was left with the impression that it was 3 hrs earlier, but it turned out that its 3 hrs later. As a result I rushed teh pic so much when I had like 6 MORE HOURS http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/no.gif

Hey guys,

I have a news, maybe it will be a bad one for some, a good one for others, anyway, here it is:

Since my trip abroad happens to take a lot longer than I anticipated, the timely evaluation of entries will be delayed a bit, maybe for about 20 days or so. So, instead I decided to extend the duration of the contest for another month, which will end by the 1st of October. Of course I didn't come to this decision so easily, but seeing we are not having a satisfactory amount of entries I just decided to act this way. I really apologize if this causes you guys any inconvenience or any frustration, but I have no choice on the matter. We will have to wait for evaluations in any way.

This topic's opening announcement will now be updated and both entries topics will be unlocked for you guys to send your stuff.

Additionally, those who experience difficulties with submissions, please try to ZIP your works and upload them instead of Image files themselves. That may solve your problems for a while until I come back and become avail to provide a tech support.

Again thanks everyone for your support and contributions and most of all, GOOD LUCK!

I think there is no need for you to remove your pic from DA. I am aware of it and there is no problem, because your work is fair.

Ok guess another season for our fan art competition is coming to an end. I just closed the entry topics - and am glad to see quite a significant number of entries been gathered so far. Thanks everyone for your wonderful works!!! Guess its time for evaluations now, re which you will be updated here, via this topic. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have...

As I have already PM'ed you, I would like also to announce here, to those who participated in our recent competition:

To regretfully inform you that the evaluations of the event may take a bit longer than I anticipated. I am really, and terribly sorry, please forgive the delay. Since I am abroad and couldn't make it back home in time to organize evaluations, it takes a bit longer. I think it might take another 20 days or so for me to wrap things up, but please BE SURE that your great works will be promptly evaluated and scored. And winners will MOST DEFINITELY get rewarded.

If it were up to me, I would extend it until I am back. I am just afraid to make contestants angrier lol, since I have already delayed things. I would love more than anything to see more awesome works of yours... Hopefully by the time I am back, our web site will be back online, completely revamped with newer, nicer, much more interactive look and features, one of which will be fan art submission system. You guys will be able to add your stuff, create your albums, alongside to our preset ones and showcase your works. That will benefit both sides of course, if you are professional artist - artists will get place to showcase their stuff to any party they like [sth like deviantart?], and we will get our precious content, stuff I love to see from you guys... We will have more of these events as soon as the site is back [that is, as soon as I am back], so don't let your ideas slip away lol. That sure sounds good!
