Hello

I am building a few levels with the editor. they are NOT the first ones I've built but I'd like to have some opinion
If you could give some feedback of what you think of these screenshots, it would be nice.
Feel free to criticize if you want. (you can say : "Oh no an Egyptian level again"
)

Well I'll say, "Wow! An Egyptian level again!" Really though, I like to see more Egyptian stuff, never get bored with it. So far, it looks wonderful! In my opinion the textures are just right. It's not too rough or too soft and you blended the colors well. It looks like something what I would see in an original Tomb Raider classic game. Excellent work!

Thank you both for the feedback. I see that some people still like Egyptian stuff This location is among my favourites.

Thanks for that. Blending colours for the texturing is one of the best pleasures you can have when you build a level.

I post another one from the Babylon level (see below) but it will be the last, because my level is part of a bigger project with a dozen of other builders involved. This project must somehow be kept secret until the release. http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/wink.gif

About the Egyptian level , it is the 1st level of a series of 5 which will include 2 Egyptian levels and 3 Greek levels. I hope I will finish this game before the end of this year. http://forum.tombrai...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Lovely screenies too, maybe just check the lighting because some look a tad dark but it may be due to the screenshot. And yes, please let us know when your level is ready, i'm looking forward to playing it so good luck

Actually the levels won’t be that dark in game , you won’t have to use many flares.

2 levels (on a total of 4) are fairly advanced

Well, from the last screenshot, I think the lighting is done accordingly to the environment. Keep the screenshots coming!

Sad to say I've never played any custom levels...*whistles*

@ Jenni: Lol! That *is* an alternative to keyboard I guess. It was just so darn funny how my hands were on top of each other when I played the demo. But, I was able to get used to it for a little while.

I have started the Mediterranean levels . The 1st one will have the atmosphere of The Coastal Ruins (in TR4) but with some different textures at times. The 2nd one is more”TR1” inspired. Here are 2 screenshots.

I will post a couple of more screenshots in a month or so, before the release
of this game to the public (probably in September). All main areas are finished now (except one)
but a lot of testing , refining , and retesting are necessary, and that takes a lot of time.
